About Us

MAX Agronomy is a newer company, but very experienced in the area of soil management and fertility. John Mackson is President and CEO of MAX Agronomy and is starting his 45th year as a consulting agronomist working in the State of Michigan.

Originally from East Lansing, Michigan. Graduate of Michigan State University with a B.S. in Agronomy and 44 years of experience working with growers as their personal agronomist. He has 2 industry certifications. Certified Crop Advisor and Certified Professional Agronomist, both issued by the American Society of Agronomy.

John Koenig, COO of MAX Agronomy, is originally from Ohio and a graduate of The Ohio State University. John is a CCA and holds a Bachelor's in Agronomy and a Master’s in plant pathology. John came aboard in 2020.
